I don’t know how about you, but I associate summer with festival season. No matter if it’s Coachella or any other music festival, I keep on imagining fringed kimonos, floppy hats, lace dresses, crochet tops and denim cut-offs. In today’s post, I want to share with you tips and tricks on how to make this music festival season work for you. If you want to join the game of floral headbands, cut-off shorts, neon shirts, fringes and lace embroideries, then I am more than happy to show you my favorite ways how to dress and be influenced with nostalgia for the 1970’s romantic decade. Keep on reading to see the best ways how to upgrade your festival wardrobe.
The first thing that popped into my mind is the fringe. I think everyone’s gonna say it’s from good old 70’s. This detailing is perfect for creating that special boho meets rock girl look. You can try on fringed black leather skirt and team it with a pretty sweater and leopard print slip-on shoes, or go totally suede by teaming cream-brown suede shirt tucked in a grey-beige high-waist fringed midi skirt. In other words, fringes gonna work for any kind event. All you have to do is to mix and match your clothes. Next thing is the knee-high gladiator sandals. Why do I love this footwear? It’s spectacular, comfy and functional. You can wear them from the beach to city streets. For instance, you can try on off-shoulder printed red tunic and team it with light blue denim cut-offs and silvery caged gladiators, or keep things urban inspired by teaming dark khaki green cargo jacket with a white crop top, denim shorts, and knee-high brown leather caged gladiator sandals. If you want to look classy, yet original, then the best way is to upgrade your denim clothes. Amp your style with denim frocks, jumpers, coveralls, etc. I love the way girls manage to pair black lace tank tops with ripped denim shorts overalls and caged black leather ankle boots. If you are more into boyfriends looks, then I am pretty sure you gonna love oversized shirts and tops. You can try on simple one size fits all rock band T-shirts, stripes tees or denim XXL shirts. Personally, I do like lace and crochet combos. For instance, I love to wear crochet lace top in white color atop black bra top and high-rise black leather shorts. Lace and crochet give its wearer a more feminine and romantic look. The last but not least is the wide-brim hat. This headwear is important for those ladies who want to look sophisticated and keep their eyes away from sun x-rays.
