Hello, Dear fashion readers. Today’s topic is dedicated to fashion tricks and tips on how to mix and match colors in your clothing this year. Of course, neutral garments look chic and unique, but wearing more than one color can add special and voguish vibes to your persona. Today, I want to share with you some of my personal advice and ideas on how to mix various hues and create a cute looking outfit. If you know your way around the color wheel, then there will be no problem in creating your one and only look.
The first idea is to try on ombre look. If monochromatic is too much for you, then you might like to try ombre shades. To create that special ombre appearance you have to pick two or three colors adjacent to each other on the color wheel and pair them together. For instance, you can try on sleeveless cream brown top and tuck it inside brown leather long skirt, or try on knitted dark fuchsia sweater and pair it with pale fuchsia skinny jeans. Personally, I love wearing a red slouchy sleeveless top tucked into a salmon red mini skirt. If you want to wear something fun and quirky, then there is a chance to do a color triad. All you need is to use three solid colors in one single look. It looks bold and eye-catchy. For instance, you can pair sleeveless peplum fuchsia top with turquoise green ankle-length trousers and complete the look by adding rich blue handbag or make some fun with your urban look by teaming dark blue, pastel blue and white colored A-line bulky sweater with classic blue skinnies. As you can see, the result is not the in your face kind of bold. If you still afraid of stepping out of your comfort zone, then the best way is to pair bright hues with neutrals. This mixing will create a perfectly balanced look. You gonna see ladies wearing bright orange suit jackets styled with cream-white fit-and-flare dresses, as well as bulky charcoal black coats worn atop neon green sweaters teamed with black leather skirts, etc. I do love to see girls wearing more neutrals and creating the kind of pop of color by showing-off bright hues. Some colors look too bold, that’s why the best way is to mix them with more muted and subdued hues. Avoid too many heavy combos.
Wow, that’s a stunning layered outfit for women who are in love with individuality. The purple sweater teamed with a matching color knitted skirt looks cool teamed with a wool plaid coat, black scarf and heeled black leather boots. I am so in love with this black driver’s cap. What a lovely look for office work during the Fridays. I love it for versatility, as you can rock this style in your 20’s, 30’s and even 40’s. Love the way this lady combined light green cardigan with white floral print blouse, indigo skinnies and light purple suede pumps.
