For many of us pink is considered to be a girlish color. In today’s post I am about to show you best ways how to wear pink and look grown up this year. Most people associate this color with princesses and young girls. For instance, if you think of little girl’s birthday party, I guess, you immediately imagine pink color. Am I right? I bet I am! As a bonus, we identify this color with women and blondes. Because of these stereotypes we find this color to be hard to pull off. Well, I am here to help you. I gathered my favorite ways of wearing this sweet looking hue. Keep on reading to find out more.
The first thing is to choose frocks in simple and classy silhouettes. Pick the ones in light pink shades with fit-and-flare shapes or keep things simple by wearing shift dresses. The best way is to keep your pink frock minimalist. No girlish details, no ruffles or overlays. You can pair a pink color with no typical colors. The typical pink color matches are white, red, black and pink. Keep an eye on neutrals and shades of grey, blue and green, or even neon shades. If you want to wear pink for the office, then the best way is to keep your entire outfit sleek and polished. For instance, you can try on high-waisted blush pencil skirt and pair it with a striped white top and white pointed-toe pumps or buy a perforated pale fuchsia T-shirt and tuck it into pencil denim skirt. Next year is all about pastel colors. The same concerns pale pink hue. Go for blush outfits with minimalist details. You can either wear totally pastel pink pantsuit or try on blazer in pastel pink and pair it with light pink skinny jeans. The next way how to make pink look awesome on you is to choose menswear-inspired clothes and pair them with your favorite hue. For instance, you can try on sleeveless blush top and tuck it inside ripped boyfriends or try on bulky pink coat and team it with pleated wide black leather pants. The androgynous look is a perfect way to make drastic changes to your everyday outfit. Personally, I love leather jackets in pink color. This menswear-inspired outerwear garment is colored in girlish hue. This statement piece looks fun and versatile. You can wear it with black separates and dark color maxi gowns. When in doubt, go for pink accessories. If it happened so that you are beginner to this color, then I highly recommend to start from bright accessories: bags, shoes, scarves, etc. All you have to do is to make them stand out and keep your outfit basic. Personally, I do like wearing pink pants. They are ideal for any occasion, starting from casual walks on the streets, to dressy and fancy cocktail parties. If you want something creative, then the best way is to wear pink prints. Try various hues and patterns.
Fuchsia pleated culottes ideally match black leather sleeveless peplum top. The outfit is completed with a black leather handbag, gold watches, and black heeled sandals. I also am a big fan of culottes, that’s why I made a post about popular culottes and how to style them right. Check it and let me know what’s your favorite design.
