If someone would’ve told me 10 years ago that pajamas going to look awesome on the streets, I wouldn’t believe it. Today’s fashion world offers amazing designs and one of them is loungewear. I’d like to share with you my favorite style ideas and tricks on how to look awesome in loungewear, pajamas, and nightgowns. No, I am not saying you should go for crazy pairings and odd outfits. I want you to have a look through these chic nightgowns, pajamas and give you a couple of advice on what you can add to make them look awesome. If you ready to rock this trend, then I am more than happy to share with you some of the best tips and tricks.
Keep in mind your silhouette. The perfect proportions is the key to this trend. The first thing to remember is to achieve a balanced silhouette. For instance, baggy lounge pants can be styled with a fitted blazer, while sleep gown can be cinched at the waist with a grunge-inspired plaid shirt. In other words saying: if your bottoms are baggy, then keep top more fitted and vice versa. Feel free to wear loose fit pajama top tucked in sexy fitted bottoms. A silky white loose-fit top with lace embroidery can be tucked in white skinnies and complimented with beige knit cardigan. Next thing is the killer shoes. If you do not wish to look like you are just stepped out from home, then I recommend to add statement killer shoes. Forget about UGGS, flip-flops and Birkenstocks. Of course, they are comfy, but you risk to look like a slob or too much homey. Try on something fancy and dressy. Think of stilettos, gladiator heeled shoes or cool printed pumps. For instance, a furry black coat is going to look awesome with a shortened crispy white tee, grey sweatpants, and black-white striped pumps, or keep an eye on spaghetti strap black nightgown complimented with blush cozy draped coat and peep-toe strappy heels. Believe me, even kimono outfits gonna look awesome styled with your favorite pumps. Keep your look natural (less make-up and get your hair up). You don’t have to look like you are at some kind of red carpet event. Wearing lounge clothes is a perfect chance to mix and match different separates. I mean, you can freely wear mismatched loungewear basics. For instance, you can go for a plain color top and pair it with brightly printed bottoms. In other words saying, you can tone down your favorite lounge pieces by adding solid color garments. One of my favorite combos is a loose-fit pajama top tucked in cool light blue classy denim cut-offs. The last but not least thing is to add accessories. I think everyone loves treating their sweet looking outfits. The same thing concerns loungewear. You can complete your look by adding some pretty accessories. Go for ladylike necklaces, stud earrings, fedora hats and chic bracelets and statement rings.
