If you are not into plaids this Summer 2018, then I promise you that after this post you gonna run in the shopping mall and buy yourself tons of plaid garments. In today’s post, I want to draw your attention to how to wear plaids in the summer season. You gonna see different ways of wearing plaids right here, right now. It’s no secret to anyone that we all love 1990’s fashion. The grunge style was one of the favorites of this decade. I love to see Kurt Cobain’s videos, where he appears in plaid shirts. It’s nostalgic and very sophisticated to see the culture of that period. The plaid is the mother of all 1990’s trends. Seriously, when we hear plaids, flannel, checkered shirts we automatically start to think of grunge or 1990’s or lumberjack, LOL! Anyway, let’s have a detailed look at some of my favorite plaid garments and the way to wear them in your everyday life.
Plaids can be worn in the fall, as well as in the summertime. Most people think of plaids when it’s winter, but I want to show you how to wear these cool printed garments in hot days of summer. First of all, it’s a semi-sheer flannel shirt that ideally suits all summer bottoms, starting from knee-ripped skinnies to cut-offs and mini A-line skirts. Then goes plaid leggings, shorts, and skirts. These bottoms will ideally look paired with crisp white blouses, crop tops, and rock band tees. Personally, I like to see girls wearing lightweight plaid jackets styled with smart-casual separates. In other words saying, plaids look the same as in winter, but the fabrics have to be lighter, colors should be brighter and the cuts have to be much sexier. There are thousands of reasons not to wait for fall to wear flannels. That’s why I think there is no need describing every look, as you just need to see everything by yourself. Let me know what you think of these outfits in the comments below.
